We're still in shock. THANK YOU ALL for coming out for this!  And thank you especially, for your patience as we steadily chipped away at the line that went all the way out the door from something like 12:30-4:30pm.

When Matt and I hatched the scheme for Crafts and Drafts, we pictured a nice casual way to introduce people to some area artists, over a few pints of our Chocolate Covered Cherry Stout... a beer we've quietly released for the last several years without much fanfare.  So if you told me that 600 people would decide to brave the crowd to wait in line for it over the course of the day, I'd have laughed. Hard. So, was it the Crafts? Was it the Drafts? I'm thinking it was BOTH!

To those who came out for the beer and decided NOT to brave the crowd, I totally understand.  And don't worry.  There's still more Chocolate Covered Cherry Stout on tap here. And I can promise you that it'll be significantly less crowded the next time you stop in.  And if you want to circle back to some of the Artists displaying their work, there's a complete list here.

Given this massive response, we'll definitely be doing this again in the months to come! And with some nice improvements too... significantly expanded space, more artists, and of course, MULTIPLE beer stations throughout.

Craftier and Draftier is how you seem to like it, so that's how it shall be!

If you missed it, check out all the pictures by Matt Dayak (like the one above) on the event site.  Or check out this recap in this morning's Post Gazette.

Keep an eye out for more info about the next one on our events page, or on the Crafts and Drafts website... once we get it scheduled of course.
