Join us in Larimer, Saturday the 24th for some Bierstacheln!
Translating to “beer spike” or “beer sting,” Bierstacheln is a traditional German practice that’s popping up stateside now and again.
We’ll be hanging from 12-3pm with fiery, hot steel rods (a shout out to Eleventh Hour for lending us the beer spikes!) and plunging them into your cold beer.
This process caramelizes the malt for a quick, hot Maillard reaction, creating a warm, marshmallowy foam atop still cool beer. It’s a sensory experience for both tongue and nose!
Free with any full pour, we recommend you enjoy half your beer first to make space for the foam.
