JOIN US AT KELLY'S BAR AND LOUNGE!
On a cold winter night twenty-one years ago, the first kegs of FRESH LOCAL BEER from East End Brewing (namely, Big Hop) were shuffled over to Kelly's Bar & Lounge. It was uncertain if there would be sales outside of the GOOD FRIENDS and family who were invited, but by golly were there! The demand for craft beer was alive, kicking like a mule, and Scott had to scurry back to the old Susquehanna location to get MORE BEER.
Twenty-one years later, we're thankfully still scurrying around for MORE BEER and yinz are still filling our space with joy. While quaffing has always been part of the tale, in the last half decade we've added chewing to the list of jaw-focused activities we offer.
The brewery landscape is of course MASSIVELY different than it was twenty-one years ago in Pittsburgh. In some ways, there's never been a better time to be a craft beer drinker, and Pittsburgh is a genuinely top tier city to be said drinker. We're grateful to cohabitate the local beer scene with a wide range of wonderful, talented folks who put are putting out some really incredible beers for everyone to enjoy. We're thrilled to be a part of that picture, and putting out some pretty darn good pints of our own (if we do say so ourselves).
We're celebrating as we have the last few years with a pay-as-you-go night out at the ORIGINAL BAR to tap an East End Beer - Kelly's Bar & Lounge!
We'll be hanging after Crafts & Drafts and raising a glass as a little celebration for another year, so if you'd like to join us for a beer, we'd love to have ya!
To celebrate, Kelly's will have FOUR East End beers on tap, including the first keg of our new 21st Anniversary Beer, a Belgian Golden Strong! Here's the full list:

As is our general preference, this will be an informal get together and we encourage you to come hungry (perhaps for some Mac & Cheese???) and to raise a glass for twenty-one years.
