GBIP Update

I’ve been getting a lot of questions lately about how the GOOD BEER Investment Program has been coming along, if we’ve met our goal, and if there are still spots available.  So that means it’s probably time for an update – to everyone, not just our beloved GOOD BEER Investors.

As of this moment (10-27-11), we’ve got 86 GOOD BEER Shares sold, to Individuals, Companies, and even a few Investor Groups that pooled their funds.  We had a goal of 100, so we’re 86% of the way there!

First, let me say that I’m more shocked than anyone about this incredible response.  I was thinking we’d maybe hit about 25 if we were lucky, and that would be it.  So clearly, I’ve underestimated your desire to help us make this next big step!  Saying thanks just doesn’t cut it, so if you’ve invested with us, I really hope you’re enjoying the full extent of the perks of program we’ve rolled out so far.  Clearly, the Beer Money has been a big hit, as we’ve seen LOTS of them come in already…and of course, that’s just fine by us!   I’m sure that Beer Money spending will pick up even more with the holidays ahead, and we’re ready for you.  The rest of your perks aren’t far behind!

Is this enough to move ahead with the expansion?  YES!  Its’ definitely enough to get us started - and of course, we already have!   And if we get all the way to 100, it would mean that we’d be able to do certain things sooner, but we’re still going to do them all, regardless of where it all finally lands.

In the months ahead, our GOOD BEER Investors will get first crack at the big bunch of new bottled beers we’re releasing for our Festival of Darkness™ in December.  We’ll do these just like last time: The Pre-Release will be open to anyone holding Beer Money Vouchers, and we'll open it up one week before the regular Release Day for these beers.

Now with 86% of the spots filled, we can soon turn our attention to the GBIP T-shirts, and I’ve got an early sketch of our design here for you to enjoy, (courtesy of Commonwealth Press).  Before we put the order in, I’ll check back with you GBIP Investors in to confirm sizes, and also give you a chance to order some extras if you’re interested.

Meanwhile, I’m already measuring the walls to find the perfect place to put all those GBIP Investor names... on the wall above the New Brewhouse looks pretty promising!

Thanks and Cheers - Scott
