I Heart Pgh!

Pipers' Firkins arrive...

These two fine gentlemen from Piper's Pub brought over a couple new toys "for you to play around with": a special delivery from across the pond, just in from the airport.... Hopefully there were no problems at check-in. I think we're exceeding the 3oz limit here.

If you've not seen them before, these are "Firkins" (I'm talking about the metal keg-looking things on the bar, not the guys standing behind them), a vessel beautifully designed to hold, condition, and serve FRESH LIVE BEER... as nature intended it to be, with natural carbonation and live yeast. Nature is a HUGE cask ale fan, by the way.

We're still a week or two away from the cask debut at Pipers, but let's just say, they're doing it up BIGTIME! Stay tuned to the newsletter for a debut date and I'll see you there!

Cheers - Scott
