Scott Smith, the founder of East End Brewing Company has generously opened his doors and kegs to share lessons from his entrepreneurial journey.

After Scott's introduction, successful entrepreneur and scale-up business coach John Seiffer (BetterCEO.com) will share his secrets with the Hackers and Founders - Pittsburgh Chapter

Many people have trouble talking about their product or startup - especially when it's in the early stages. We'll discuss and practice this essential skill. We'll use an approach called the accordion which can be adapted to any audience, any length of time and used for selling, attracting co-founders or employees, pitching to investors or just explaining what you do over a beer. We'll even have beer there so you can practice!

Besides an awesome chance to explore the local tech scene, meet and mingle with founders, engineers, developers, techies, artists, designers, make friends, source talent, and get job opportunities, we'll be treated to actionable lessons from some of the best in Pittsburgh.

Come thirsty to this free event – anyone with an interest in the PGH startup scene is welcome! Join Hackers and Founders - Pittsburgh Chapter so you don't miss future events. We'll look forward to seeing you there!
